Our mission is to make the experience of giving and receiving deep, healing massage available to everyone, by producing comfortable and effective massage tools and providing training on how to use them.
Our secondary purpose is to build a company that is driven by input from its customers, that respects its employees, and whose business decisions reflect our commitment to integrity.
The Thumbby Company was founded in 2007 and is located in Portland, Oregon. The Thumbby Company is a woman-owned business and is privately held.
Katherine Wolfe, President and CEO
Katherine Wolfe has more than 20 years experience design and engineering. Her experience of hard, uncomfortable massage tools led her to design the Thumbby(TM) massager.
As President and CEO, Wolfe leads the long-term direction of the company. In addition, she acts as Chief Architect and Director of Design, directly overseeing the design of products and services.
Susan A. Baer, Vice-President
Susan Baer has been a licensed massage therapist since 1977. Her interest in devices to assist massage professionals in giving deep, healing massage while minimizing repetitive
stress led her to collaborate with Katherine Wolfe in the design and marketing of the Thumbby(TM) massager.
